My favorite Urdu newspaper is Nawa-i-Waqt.

Policy of Nawa-i-Waqt Newspaper

The policy of Nawa-i-Waqt Newspaper is to empower its readers and viewers through its content. The newspapers and television channels of the Nawa-i-Waqt group provide a unique perspective to the news. It not only addresses the 'where' and 'what' of the story but also the 'how and 'why' of it. The brand's task is to deliver this promise consistently to the growing and relevant target groups.

Moreover, the Nawa-i-Waqt Group has always promoted national unity, integration and truth in all aspects in the supreme interest of Pakistan. It firmly believes in the independence of press and media, both print and electronic.

Why I like Nawa-i-Waqt Newspaper

I like this newspaper because it is the more influential newspaper in the country. This newspaper passionately supported All India Muslim League and in those days is had a pro-American and anti communist stance. Moreover, it has a special position in Pakistan’s media as the guardian of Pakistan’s ideology with well established center-right and nationalist credentials. Recently, it is one of the four top most influential Urdu newspapers in Pakistan.

I prefer this newspaper over others newspaper because of its role in the history of Pakistan. No other Urdu newspaper performed a commendable role for supporting All India Muslim League and in support of Pakistan making.

My favorite English newspaper is Dawn Newspaper.

Policy of Dawn Newspaper

Dawn Newspaper published in New Delhi and began as a weekly publication. Later Dawn became a daily newspaper in October 1942. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah summed up the paper's policy when he stated:

"The Dawn will mirror faithfully the views of Hindustan's Muslims and the All Hindustan Muslim League in all its activities: economic, educational and social and more particularly political, throughout the country fearlessly and independently and while its policy will be, no doubt, mainly to advocate and champion the cause of the Muslims and the policy and programme of the All Hindustan Muslim League, it will not neglect the cause and welfare of the peoples of this sub-continent generally".

Why I like Dawn Newspaper

            I like Dawn newspaper because this newspaper was founded by Our Charismatic Leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Delhi, India, on 26 October 1941 as a mouthpiece for the Muslim League and most important thing is that the Dawn Newspaper support for the independence of Pakistan in 1947. On 24 March 2016, it became the first newspaper to oppose the resumption of the death penalty in Pakistan. The role of Dawn newspaper in the history of Pakistan is commendable that’s why I like this newspaper.

I also prefer this newspaper over others English newspaper because of its performance in the history of Pakistan. No such English newspaper played a commendable role for being the mouthpiece for the Muslim League and for support for the independence of Pakistan.
